Meet Your host

Your host and Bible teacher brother Karl Coates is a graduate of Grace School of the Bible and currently lives with his wife and three children in Trondheim, Norway. Karl was born in Rhodesia in 1979 and relocated to Margate, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa in the early 1980's with his parents Michael and Priscilla Coates. Brother Karl took to the surf in his early teens and later on worked in the surf industry, firstly as a  retailer, then surfboard manufacturer and surf coach. He also enjoyed the yachting world for a good while too and has fond memories of his Atlantic crossings and his time in both the Med and Caribbean. Karl was saved as a teen, but only in his mid 30's began to search the scriptures and study to shew himself approved unto God. Beforehand Karl found himself in the Pentecostal movement and after a trip to Egypt, Israel and Jordan in 2007, he was introduced to brother Robert Ower in Torbay, South Devonshire, England. Robert, a Grace Believer  gently introduced Karl to the message of Grace. Karl will tell you, it didn't go down so good in the beginning, but God's word always does God work...Karl got to eventually see what is the "fellowship of the mystery"...  The rest is history as they say! Brother Karl travels to the U.S.A. most years and enjoys fellowshipping with the saints, particularly the Shorewood Bible Church saints.
